Daffodil Day… What is it? 🌼

This Friday 23rd August is the Annual Cancer Council Daffodil Day.
It is a day for Australians to give hope to those affected by all cancers by donating to support a cancer free future, and a cause close to our heart.

The Daffodil Day Appeal is Cancer Council’s most iconic and much-loved fundraising campaign.

With one in two Australians diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, this is a cause that affects us all.
Help fund Australia’s brightest researchers as they work to uncover breakthrough cancer treatments to protect the ones you love.

What it means to us?

When we started Nourish and Feed a huge driver for us was to help busy people to lead healthier lifestyles.

At the time our father was fighting Pancreatic Cancer. He was a very busy small business owner, who didn’t always prioritise healthy living. Whilst we know that is never the sole cause for cancer, we believe it is an important part to preventing it. Having gone through the effects that cancer has on a family, we are now passionate about making healthy food as convenient as possible.

As the world gets busier, healthy living is one avenue for preventing illness. Our goal is to make fresh, local, seasonal produce as tasty and easily accessible as possible, so our customers can continue to chase their dreams day to day without having to worry that their health might suffer as a consequence.
